Bruce Forester Reports:
"I just finished following Mort and Millie through their second thriller in
this series. It is called When a Stranger Knocks, to be published by Twin
Bridges Publishing Company in the Spring, 2002. The following few paragraphs
will hopefully get your juices stirred up while waiting for this adventure to
appear.
"A beautiful, young, sophisticated woman bursts into psychiatrist, Dr.
Mort Yvars upper West Side office clutching several thick diaries in her
blood-drenched hands, pleading for his help and then suddenly dies in his
arms. It isnāt long before Mort and his beloved wife Millie, an assistant to
the District Attorney in New York City, are catapulted into an ever evolving
web of intrigue, deception and murder that propels them from New York and
Washington to London and then to Zurich before coming to a heart pounding
finale during a torrential Northeaster in an old Victorian house on a remote
part of Nantucket. It is here Mort confronts an ingenious conspiracy which if
not stopped would threaten the very fabric of our democracy.
"However, When a Stranger Knocks is more than an unique international, psychological suspense thriller with an underlying medical theme. Once again Mort and Millie Yvars are forced to summon up their inner resources necessary to surmount an ever engulfing nightmare."
